Seascape autumn #9 Winterlight,
24x30 cm, oil on canvas panel

This piece was created during a video-day: you can watch me talk about it in Part 3 of the Painting diary videos. (coming up!)
To tell in short, here I fixed up an older unfinished painting, because I was lucky enough to have brought it, and circumstances were somewhat the same as a year ago. Nevertheless you'll end up (or I) with a total different endresult. It's not touching up. Often these take even longer, than where I would have started blanco.. I started with the rays I saw on my left, and put them straight ahead. But the magical thing was: how the session ended in real life- so was the painting exact this. I felt blessed.

Your description is almost as beautiful as the painting :-)
I like how the rays in the sky ended where you painted them.
The light is magic, Roos. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
Thank you Nancy!!
